-Come prepared to run in the sand and around the lake! Bring shoes!
Wednesday 1/31 Morning Coastal West Weight Room Practice
8:00-9:00 a.m.
Come prepared to work out. Try and show up dressed at 8 a.m.
Thursday 2/1 Coastal West Weightroom Practice
3:30 p.m. -5:30 p.m.
-Come prepared to take some notes and workout in the gym
Saturday 2/3
Due to rain and the courts not being available to us this day- canceled
Instead, students should run 2 to 3 miles on their own. Running two to three miles is almost equivalent to one game of beach volleyball. If students struggle with running that distance consistently, they should use the intervals of 1 minute and thirty seconds of running and then 30 seconds of jogging. Then repeat until the distance is completed.
Also, Spring Sports Night is Monday1/29. Feel free to come learn about our programs, hear from our athletics directors, get some updates about our upcoming season, and meet me in person. 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Coastal West Study Hall.
Reminder our first official practice is Saturday, February 10th from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. This will be a special time to have the whole team together, bond, and set goals for the seasons. Afterward, families are encouraged to come to play some volleyball with students. Then everyone is invited to go to In N Out together as a group near the harbor. (Also, after this day- practices will not be held on Saturdays for the rest of the season so please prioritize this time so we can start on a good note altogether.)
